Welcome from our Principal

Mr. Joey Cantu

Welcome to Carrizo Springs High School!

It is my honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Carrizo Springs High School and to welcome you to a campus where excellence, opportunity, and the success of every Wildcat are at the heart of everything we do. At CSHS, we believe every student has the ability to achieve greatness when provided with the right support, opportunities, and encouragement.

Our commitment is reflected in The Wildcat Way—our guiding philosophy that challenges every student to design with the end in mind, plan and learn for success, and collaborate to elevate those around them. We believe that success is not achieved alone; it is built through strong relationships among students, staff, families, and our community.

As we continue to grow and build upon our successes, we celebrate the many opportunities available to our students through academics, UIL, athletics, fine arts, Career and Technical Education, leadership programs, and partnerships that prepare students for life beyond high school. Whether a student’s path leads to college, a career, military service, or the workforce, our goal is to ensure every Wildcat graduates prepared and confident for the future.

Thank you for your continued support of Carrizo Springs High School. Together, we will continue to create a culture where every student is known, valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve excellence.

Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat!

Warm regards,
J. Cantu
